The construction of the sixth underground line on the section between Bucharest Central station (Gara de Nord) and Henri Coanda airport, the expansion of the airport and the development of the National Swimming Pool in the area near the road belt of the Capital are the main investment targets which will be completed in Otopeni until 2020, the aggregate value overcoming one billion euro. The city will harmoniously develop on the basis of clear regulations on the height of buildings and occupation of the territory, mainly in eastern areas (toward Tunari), western region (to Mogosoaia) and near the international airport.
